| Liz Redding is a self-taught cook who has loved cooking
since she was a young girl. She learned the basics of cooking from her
mother, who is a "technical" cook - following recipes to the letter.
She learned the "fun" of cooking from her father, who loved to experiment
and try new combinations of foods and flavors. She combines these two
disciplines of cooking by using tried and true recipes as the basis for her
cooking with a little experimentation thrown in.
She
took her love and passion for cooking with her when she left home. She
fantasized about going to culinary school and becoming a chef, but she had
an aptitude for computers, and it was a great career choice. Cooking
became her hobby outside of work. She cooked for friends, family and
neighbors whenever she got the chance.
After twenty-some years in the computer field, she decided to retire from
the corporate world and pursue her passion. She is an avowed "foodie",
and continues to increase her knowledge and experiment on her own. "Cooking
with an attitude!" is a reflection of her personality, and her
willingness to constantly search out new recipes and try new techniques.
She prides herself on providing her clients with healthy meals full of
variety and taste.
Liz has been appeared on the Fox8 Morning show several
times, discussing nutrition and demonstrating low-carb recipes.
